Matt Poc: Hi, this is Matt Poc from startonlinefast.com and today on the line I have Richard Legg, who is a very successful internet marketer from theUS. In this session he is going to tell us how he would start online again absolutely from scratch. Richard is someone who I have a lot of respect for and I have been following him almost since the time I discovered internet marketing. And I actually took his advice, took action, and actually made some money. It’s not a lot of money, what Richard teaches actually works.

 

So Richard, let me ask you the question of this series, which is: if you had to start making a hundred dollars a day from scratch using SEO in thirty days or less, what would you do? And could we just walk through the whole process right now, in a very step-by-step format so people know what they should do exactly after they listen to this call?

 

Richard Legg: Sure. First of all, thanks for having me on the call, Matt. It’s a pleasure to be on here. Like you said, I’ve been doing this for a while now and one of my specialties is with SEO, so Search Engine Optimization and getting free traffic from the search engines like Google, Yahoo! and Bing.

 

So, if I was starting from scratch again, what I’d probably do is stick with something like that, use SEO, because it’s a way to get started for free, basically. Anything you do online takes some investment, whether it be time or money, and the good things about SEO is that, for people starting out, who don’t have a lot of money, you can invest the time into it, rather than having to risk being with out-of-pocket expenses.

 

So, what I would do is try and build up some kind of network, use some search engine optimization to get some sites ranking high in Google, so I can get free traffic, and direct that to different affiliate offers, and hopefully later on, to my products, if I’m going to create a product in a market.

 

We’re getting started out. You have no experience, you don’t have a website, you don’t have a product, so affiliate marketing using SEO is a really great way to get started. And I’m at the point where now, I do this actually full time on my business, and I have a team who outsources a lot of the work. But if I was doing all the work myself, these are the kind of steps I would go through.

Lee McIntyre Review – The Full Story

 

Lee McIntyre used to be a business teacher – he used to teach kids. That was the latest job that he had, before he started making money online. But, before that, he had a numerous amount of jobs – he used to change his jobs every 3 months or so.

When he graduated from a university, it was 2002. He was trained to be a lawyer. But he did not want to be a lawyer. He just did not want it, though, he enjoyed studying at university. So, after he was trained as a lawyer, he started washing cars, which is ridiculous.

His parents and grandfather really did not like that he started washing cars… But Lee enjoyed it for awhile, but very soon he was bored. He took a list of professions, he started reading it and he decided that he will become an accountant.

He had to spend quite a lot of time to get to the place where he was working and even worse, the train was always late for some reason, and the employer did not like that and said to him that he must stop being late to work, otherwise he will fire him, but Lee complained that the train was always late, but the employer did not care about that, so Lee McIntyre had to buy a car.

So, he bought a car. But, he did not like that either, because driving to the work took quite a lot of time, so he said, that he will leave, unless they will give him a big pay rise. So he left and found another job.

He thought that accounting is for him, but that job was not for him, because he had to drive too long, so in the next job he continued to work as an accountant.

In the next job he worked for 3 months, just like in the previous one. He had a few conflicts and found another job. That lasted for 3 months or so. Then, he changed his job a few more times.

And I should add that every time Lee left a job, he felt massively satisfied.

Finally, he decided that accounting is not for him. He decided to become a teacher. So he was trained to become a teacher.

Surprisingly, he liked teaching. He finally felt like he has found his passion. However, he did not like to be an employee.

He had a few conflicts with his employer and after these conflicts he started his eBay business, which used to sell digital teaching resources.

Quickly, he started making about $100 a day.

Then, he created an ebook, called “Classroom Management 101”. It added another 80 dollars or so to his daily income.

Lee McIntyre was very very satisfied, because he actually was making more money online, than he was making as a teacher.

Then, he had another conflict with his employer. After that he went to Warrior forum and revealed his eBay system, that he used to make money with, because he was completely fed up with his job.

Surprisingly, people really liked his content and they even asked to create a product that teaches this system more in depth. Lee discovered, that the best way to sell is to give value first, before he starts selling – this is a very important lesson that he learned from posting a new thread with amazing value.

So he created his first product in internet marketing niche, called “Auction Profits Unleashed” and he made over $7,000 in 30 days selling this product.

Lee McIntyre wanted to quite his job, but he was not sure about it, because the income that he was making from his online business was not that stable, so he decided to create a membership site. Then “Standing Start Profits” membership site was created and very soon, that site replaced his salary.

Lee McIntyre finally decided to quite his job and become a full time internet marketer. So, he wrote a letter in which he did everything what was needed to do, in order to quite a job, it took just about five or ten minutes.

But, sending that letter was the hardest part… It literally took him 3 hours to send this letter… He was pondering and stumbling around…

After sending this letter, he went to a pub and he was shaking – he was so scared of it.

Now Lee says that it was one of the best moments in his life. His life changed forever.

However, it was summer then, so he was on holiday, so nothing really changed. But, his wife was a teacher and when she started teaching again and when Lee was alone at home… That was the time when he felt really scared again!
